I gutted a set of headlights and covered the plastic lenses with 3M Ni Doc with carbon fiber pattern. The headlights were already damaged, so it wasn't like I was gutting good lights. All mounting points are behind the fender and bumper cover.

Can we get any pics or info on the mounting?
Im actually in the process of making some headlight covers... either fiberglass, using just the stock lenses, or bending and welding in a cover to the actual fender.

Here are a few pictures. Fenders are fiberglass. Mounting brackets were glued or fiberglassed to the inside of the fenders. At the top, a tab was part of the fiberglass fender.

This is the outer end, with the bracket to the outside of the car.



This is the top with the outside to the left



Here is the bottom, with the outside to the left.

Car weighs about 2280 without fuel or driver.

SCCA minimum weight with driver is 2520 pounds.
