I should be there. Need to re-do alignment and hope nothing was seriously bent, install the fuel sample port, mount RA1's, and repair two flat tires on the trailer, but all should get done in time.

Ry, I see you are registered, but will the car be ready? Will and Karner, will you be there? I see Alex is registered also.

I think I'm ready to leave for Laguna tomorrow. Car seems to be okay finally (but not tested!) after stealing some parts off the white car on the weekend and adding all the SCCA required stuff... crossing fingers that there will be no issues at tech inspection or on the track. Permit arrived just in time today too . Was dicey getting the car on the black trailer in the dark with no headlights . Now I just have to tackle wildfires through LA tomorrow and hope the Ridgeline can make it across the grapevine .

I'm too old a rookie to handle all this .

Best of luck to all the racers. This should be the best HC race yet!

Please take lots of photos and video, and post them immediately.

Wheel to wheel racing at Laguna Seca... you lucky bastards!!!

Have fun and be safe!

I made it no problem crossing the grapevine in 100* heat . I'm in a Motel 6 in Salinas that looks scary. Hope the car and truck will be there in the parking lot in the morning.

Good night.

If you check this before you leave in the am I'm pitted near the Cafe off to the left. I intentionally took as much space as possible w/ the trailer, van and s2k

Should be room for karner too. If you beat me there, I'll move stuff around to give more usable space in the am.

to Rylan.
Talk about kicking the crap out of raseflais. Doug H. would be proud.

1) Qualifying (incl. taking T1) with NO ABS
2) Dealing with overnighted wheels that didn't fit.
AND still... taking POLE (as I forecasted ) amongst ALL the Honda Cup cars.
