HONDA CUP BUTTONWILLOW
If anybody wants to see what racing in the rain is going to be like, come check it out.
This should be a fun weekend with all kinds of mayhem taking place.
Does the S2K have what it takes to take on the Killer K's? You'll find out.
We are happy to welcome our latest sponsor EIBACH to the team. We will be working closely with them to fine tune our car and find the optimal suspension solution for the S2K. Eibach is an industry leader when it comes to racing springs and are a considerable asset to our operation. We look forward to a long working relationship with them.
Wish us luck!

Day 1
Practice started out dry and started raining about 4 laps in. Got a chance to try out the car in the rain for the first time Since the last Honda Cup race at CAl Speedway.
Qualifying was dry which gave us a chance to play with the suspension a little bit.
By the time the race was ready to go, the skies looked threatening. It looked like there was a heavy cloudstorm heading straight for us, but thanks to my teammates ultra accurate top secret weather forecast machine, we stayed on dry's and it never rained.
In the race, we were battling with a Monster Evo on Hoosiers making 400HP! It was no contest on the straights, but in the turns the S2k's superior handling gave us the upper hand and it was good bye to the EVO.
Another great win for the S2K, even though not too many people showed up in our class. Where is everybody?
Thank you to my teammates Shawn and Simpson for helping out and getting everything handled.

Yep, once again the S2k was the fastest car on the track with the exception of the monster GT1 and SP V8 cars (which are essentially Trans-Am cars for all intents and purposes - 500-600 hp with slicks).
David has consistently shown this in SCCA races this year with a 5th, 5th and I believe a 3rd overall yesterday in the fastest closed wheel class at each race - and we're still running a stock internal motor and RA-1's!!
UL
p.s. - I think David's superior driving had a little to do with the EVO victory too. It wasn't an in-class battle (just the overall), but David continually pressured the EVO into virtually every corner until a small mistake was made and then it was "see ya!".
