Marketing, of course. Just like Lexus and Pontiac, rather than Toyota and GM, supply engines for Daytona Prototype cars.

Excellent. I'd rather see them in a non-prototype class, but it's not like they really have anything in the Honda/Acura stable that could compete.

Then again, they haven't driven Asura's car.
