Ok, I tried to search for this info but didn't have any luck.......javascript:smilie('')
I need to know the pressures you guys are running with Hoosier AutoX Tires. I have a Comptech adjustable bar and the correct alignments for SOLO II.
Thanks in advance,
Ann

Good question, but not specific enough.

What pressures for Hoosiers 225/245?
What pressures for Hoosiers 215/215?

Both are competitive.
For 225/245 i've heard about 46/40 on concrete, less on asphalt.
For 215/215 with max front bar, there is less data.

Those are the pressures with the tires at operating temps (hot), as you probably know. Hoosier manual states to start at 32 lbs cold minimum, but it seems most find starting at 28-26 cold might bring the pressure up to optimum just fine and heat the tire evenly and more quickly than the higher cold pressure.

Ann,

I usually run 45-49 in front depending on the course and surface. Generally adding more pressure to take some of the bite out up front. In the rear I keep it around 42. On warm days, I will usually bleed some air to keep the hot pressures in the ball park of my starting points. This is for 225/245 with a hollow Gendron bar.

Now that you have all my secrets, I really expect you to kick my but at the divisional this weekend. BTW, is Brad co-driving your car this year? Had a lot of fun talking to him at the same event last year.
