It's Thursday morning and it looks like BS is running Heat 1 on the north course.

It shouldn't be too long till we see some results posted.

Here is a link to the daily results. I think they update this page intra-day.

If anyone hears anything from Kansas please post an update for us.

Good luck guys and girls.

Results for day 1 are up.

Looks like rain played a major part of the results...

Yeah looks like some strange times in there, possibly rain related.

Either way, looks like Jason and Ian are off to a pretty smoking start.

There is (almost) a full second difference between 1st and 8th. Jason and Ian have Andrew(Fifth Place) by .5! That's amazing considering the drivers in this competition.

10 out of the 16 trophy positions are held by s2000 drivers.
4 Boxsters, 1 350Z and 1 Z4 make up the rest.

Anyone have a report on the weather, and the roll it played?

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right but to me it looks like the CS Miata guys ran on the North course on Wednesday and the BS guys ran the North course on Thursday.

Top CS North course time on Wednesday: 57.332
Top BS North course time on Thursday: 62.964

I don't know if the courses stay the same day over day. If they do than the track had to be pretty messy on Thursday.

Actually, since CP has run already, it would be preferred to have the later runs (sticky rubber in the turns). The same course is used for all days so differences in time is generally due to weather. That same sticky rubber could be slippery when wet. The BS/CS times illustrate this well...

Thursday was hell to run. It rained and lots of people got lost on course. The first two runs were ran under constant sprinkle and then just at the beginning of 3rd then it poured pretty bad and times speak for themselves.

Friday was a nice day but pretty cool in the morning and tough to make any heat out of the tires. I ran on Kumho's and they never heated up........
