how fast should i be?
I'm going to Irwindale Speedway for 1/8 mile drags, All I have is a AEM CAI. what kind of times sould I expect to get and at what speeds? I'm used to 1/4 mile so this will be all new to me?
There are few competitions that the car would be worse at than the eighth, maybe Baja. The car is a poor drag racer anyway but would never get its legs in the eighth.. prepare to be very tough on the car and probably disappointed with the performance.
I just came back, and was more than happy with my results. My best time was 8.991 sec @78.45mph.
60ft = 2.029-2.098
330 = 5.842-6.065
1/8mi= 8.991-9.242
With only a AEM CAI and a custom speaker enclosure still in the trunk, I was very pleased with my S. I know the S is not a drag car, that's probably why I also AutoX. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get one of those slow s2000's
. Isn't it amazing all the attention we get whereever we go

Does anyone know how fast it would be if it was 1/4 mile?

I come up with a 14.11 for your best run to a 14.51 for your worst. This isn't totally accurate, but its a good estimate. I usually find that I can pull off 13's in almost any car if I can get an 8.99 or better in the 1/8th.
