Installed Supercharger, 4.57 gears, 75 shot Nitrous Oxide, EMS, Exuast, headrers, Clutch and Diff? would that get me into 10's 1/4?

Impossible to say given your parameters. A lot would depend on boost levels and the car would require enough tire to get the power down. Also, driving ability becomes much more important as power goes up and ET goes down.

I don't know this - has anyone broken into the 10s with their S2000?

I believe the record right now is 11.1 et, by someone in Austrailia. I could be wrong though, there was a thread in FI about it.

If you really, really, really believe in the S2000, then it will give you the glory of 10's. But, I warn you , it only rewards street racers of pure heart, people who live their life ' a quater mile at a time.'

Take him on under more favorable conditions: autocross or time trial. Quarter mile races are for alcohol-burners and panty-wearers. Which are you?

you said and, not or. So I guess that would mean he is both.

By alcohol burner do you mean metabolize? Then I'd be guilty

Quickest, ummm... S2000 I know of is Del Segura's. Now he did have to overbore it a mite to 128 cu. in. to make a class. And he did spend a lot of time lightening the cam cover and the oil pan (really). And he did put it into a rather special car with big ol' tars in the back and leetle skinny ones in the front.

And that left him sorta broke so he couldn't afford no turbo or blower, or NOS or alky or nuthin. Just gasolene and an airscoop. But still, doncha think 7.99 at 165 is a fairly respectable 1/4?

His secrets? Wellll, one of 'em is he re-programmed his rev limiter to 11,700 (caution: Don't try this at home). He did a "few" other mods too BTW.

Keep your shiny side down,

Jim

P.S. Hi Lude
