Default How to reinforce trunk for APR GT-250 Wing

Does anyone have an APR GT-250 and a stock trunk that hasn't bent/deformed?

Can anyone suggest how to reinforce the trunk?

Not directly much help, but and option you can consider... I'm not using the APR wing, but the previous owner of my car had mounts welded to the body for mounting the wing:

Granted, the trunk cannot be opened with the wing installed but it doesn't tear up the trunk lid. Just an option...

If they do, they just haven't gone fast enough yet. The only way I can see to do it is to add more rubber/aluminum stoppers along the rain drainage area so that the trunk is supported along the bottom. I just don't give af about how bent mine is.

Damn that is a nice setup. Does that generate substantially more downforce in the rear than the front at speed and cause any understeer?

Afraid so--I wasn't expecting it to be as efficient as it is. I run it at 0deg AoA and the car pushes at higher speed sweepers (most noticeably Riverside at Buttonwillow). I'll be doing as much front aero as I can, and if it's still too much I'll be removing the Gurney flap!

I used the CR reinforcements. just the rears.

Per King Tut I haven't gone fast enough, he is probable right.

I do have heavy marks on my bumper from the mounts.
