The race car is done!!!!
Will take it to the track this weekend.

I'm still looking for some good race shocks but they can't be adjustable for spring height. Local rules don't allow it. If anyone has any info on where or who please let me know.

Koni has announced part numbers so far but no further information is available yet. Koni NA says it will be late summer before they're available.

Thanks for the info Mike.

I talked to the same guys that did Jason's Penske shocks and they said it was posible to do one of their double adjustable/external reservoirs with a fix spring perch but haven't heard from them in a long time.

Could you do a set of custom Koni racing shocks with a fix Spring perch? Let me know.

You can get JRZ's from Fordahl Motorsports

http://www.fordahlmotorsports.com

ask for Curt or Greg

They are a threaded perch but it can be welded at the stock height. Same dimensions as stock.

Warning, sponsor plug

We have been really happy with the Penske's that we got from Guy Ankeny at Ankeny Racing. They are also a threaded shock body, but we have fixed the ring in place permanently.

Warning- Sponsor Plug #2

My degree in fine art is piping up here: the Penskes are amazingly beautiful too!

Ahem- resume your regularly scheduled programming.

Pepe,

We had been working on a set of Konis with Truechoice but weren't happy with the valving they were coming up with. Since the shocks didn't have the correct mounting ends, they would have needed custom adaptors also. Since Koni is finally doing something, we've put the project on hold.

Any scca members read the article on tuning shocks in the May edition of Sports Car? One of the pictures has Jason Keeney using Koni's on his s2000. Anyone know the history on these for this car?
