I want to get into AutoX'ing. I have searched through a ton of threads and have determined that this is a great way to have a lot of fun. I am looking to get started in the Baton Rouge or New Orleans area. How do I go about finding a chapter and what is all involved? How addictive is this hobby?

The trouble with auto-x is that it can lead to "harder drugs" such as time trials and even (gasp) wheel to wheel racing. You won't know if you're an addict until you take your first puff however. Go ahead, try it, it won't hurt

 

Well since everyone else is doing it... that makes it OK!

It looks like that web site is just what the Dr. ordered. I am going to contact them and take my first hit

 

I'll be putting on another school on 11/24. This one will be with the SCCA instead of the NCCC. It'll be a lot more intensive with more cars and no 95mph speeds like the last time. Tires that will hold at least some air are required. Don't forget to bring the wife.
