Default JDM 16in. BBS wheels

I'm looking to buy a second set of wheels for autocross, did any one buy the JDM 16 in. six spoke wheels?
Where and how much?

Gus

Racers with titanium exhausts buy them. They run about 3X the cost of a set of used OEM rims or about 1800 and people have bought them from http://www.s2000tuning.com

Gus,

You need to talk to Pete Berta (SoloVR6, on this board). I visited him yesterday in Chicago at the shop that he's working in, Moto Persona. He has been autocrossing for five years, has a Suzuka Blue S2000, and I'm sure he can help you.

Too funny

Thanks for the plug Bob, it's always nice meeting a member of the forum. At this time we do not have a source for importing JDM parts. But you can also contact Tim at MGRacing. The wheels are between $1800 and 1900 for the set and approx. 4lbs lighter than stock rims.

If you need that extra tenth, they may be worth it.

Or you can take about 6 Evolution performance driving school courses.

I bought 'em on the first group buy via MG Racing. Took forever, they cost a bundle and I only compete regionally but they're exactly what I wanted. I can't say that I like the looks much but that's very personal. Since I wanted them only for autocrossing, I figured that a one time purchase was well worth it. I also bought the Comptech adjustable swaybar for the same reasons - not because I have far too much money to spend (check out the main forum for the boys with too many toys) but because I don't want to buy them again.

I've started two group buys on these wheels:

Group Buy: Modulo 17\" wheels

Group Buy: JDM 6-spoke wheels

Please PM/email me if you are interested. Thanks.

Darn... if I only had $1900. Those would go great with my titanium exhaust.
