Although I do look like a lunatic trolling myself after you cleaned that other thread up.

You guys do realize that real race cars are kept extremely clean right? Vacuumed after every session, all windows cleaned, wiped down and sprayed with quick detailer, wheels removed and cleaned...

I dont do all that while at the track, but I think I have the cleanest car at a lot of track days

You have windows?

When I can afford umbrella girls and pit crews, I'll rock a clean race car. Pretty sure real race drivers don't have to wash their cars themselves.

+1

When my pit crew *exists* they can clean my car at events. Shad keeps the Driving Ambition car very pretty at events =)

However, at the most recent laguna event I had an hour in the morning while the car was covered with dew so I used that as an opportunity to wipe it down.

I don't post here much, mostly just read, but I appreciate the "on track" info.

"But if you like the color of your wheels "brake dust grey" + aluminum tape accents, don't bother replacing center caps (because they're melting off anyway), can write your name in dust on your dashboard... this might be the place for you!"

^^ why does the above sound so damned familiar
