Default KEEP IT ON TRACK... literally and figuratively.

Reminder that this is the "Racing and Competition" subforum to discuss LEGAL, sanctioned racing and competition: autocross, track, W2W with a bias towards S2000-specific content.

See first line in FAQ here:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/520...mpetition-faq/

If you like street racing, try here:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/34-...et-encounters/

I even made a TOUGE / CANYON thread here:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/103...nd-touge-here/

If you like shiny pretty cars, try here:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/15-s2000-wash-and-wax/

Or here:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/12-the-s2000-gallery/

Heck, if you like talking about other people racing we even have this:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/150...ng-discussion/

But if you like the color of your wheels "brake dust grey" + aluminum tape accents, don't bother replacing center caps (because they're melting off anyway), can write your name in dust on your dashboard... this might be the place for you!

Just like there is a "general" subforum for wheels and tires
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/56-...the-tire-rack/

And a "general" subforum for brakes and suspension
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/forum/249...nd-suspension/

There are other sub forums for casual and street driving. This one is for track, autocross, competition and racing. It is a very specific group of people with a narrow focus.
Trolling, self-described or otherwise identified will not be tolerated and non-competition / racing / sanctioned motorsport opinions will be appropriately moved to a general subforum or a separate thread. Play by the rules or begone. Thanks!

Post a or
If the regulars here would like to see this subforum diluted in signal to noise, I can let that happen.
I can tell you that most "racing" sub forums on other car forums are filled with such noise to signal that they're pretty unreadable....

I like the "But if you like the color of your wheels "brake dust grey" + aluminum tape accents, don't bother replacing center caps (because they're melting off anyway), can write your name in dust on your dashboard... this might be the place for you!", sums me up to a T.

Thanks for the post Charles.

I'll also add that I appreciate the way people discuss technical issues and other racing topics here, for the most part. I consider it a valuable resource and a fun place to go frequently. I am happy that your goal is to keep it that way.

I've never been the fastest person at an event, but I have had the dirtiest car. Several times.
