Default Kognition Rear Wing input

Hello Everyone,

I had a few customers that have asked about a rear wing, a bunch of my customers went out and bought Kognition Design rear wings. I just wanted to get your input and hear you feedback. We are going to try and become a dealer, but would like to know your thoughts.

Has anyone compared different wing brands on track, would love to hear your input. I personally really liked the fact that they were offering a subframe mounted wing vs the traditional trunk mounted style.

Here are a few pics:

Thank you,

Gruppe-S

I just switched from a GTC-200 to a Kognition I'll be running it in a few weeks hoping for more consistant downforce and hopefully a bit less drag
The APR wing moved around a lot

Guys thank you for your input! I am going to proceed with becoming a dealer and left a deposit for him to start production of the wings. I hope they sell

One thing with the wing.

Some SoCal guys in the S2K Challenge have compared this wing with the Voltex wings.

Their feed back has been that while the wing generates quite a bit of downforce, it also generates more drag when compared to something like a Voltex Type 7.

I'm not sure what pricing is like and if this would slot in between APR wings and Voltex wings.

If the price point is similar to a Voltex wing, i'd much rather have a voltex wing.

As a disclaimer, this is not my personal experience, but what some fellow track acquaintances have told me.

My only issue with the Kognition Rear Wing is the surgery it requires to install it. I have a Voltex type 2 1600mm on 325mm stands and love it I know it is warping my trunk but my trunk is still fully functional. Maybe on day when I move to full racecar with a cage I will cut my truck and consider the Kognition Rear Wing but until then I will stick with my Voltex wing.

Actually, the wing Tom is using last season was Devin's old Kognition wing. Not sure what Devin's new set up is going to be this year. I know that they were both happy with it's performance tho, and having followed them both on track when they owned it, I do remember it NOT swaying side-to-side like some other tall wings. It appeared pretty stable IMO.

Its a chassis mount quick release I took it from the car I'm parting out - had plans to sell it but I couldn't resist putting it on my car it makes the GTc-200 look like a toy
