A bit of data on Kuhmo wear.

I have a 1.25" solid front bar and negative camber of 1.5 front 2.1 rear (all I could get).

Since I have been running with the front bar my front and rear wear have been the same, even though this includes one pro solo. Right rear shows a little more wear (less than 1/32 more), which is typical from engine torque, so I'm swapping rear wheels. Wear across the tire tread has been almost even. Slightly more on inside edge, which is pretty much what you want.

For the Evolution school, I remounted an old set that I ran from Sept last year until March this year. Front and rear both wore off 2/32 over 50-60 runs.

The old tires felt good. I ran the rear down to one wear groove at 1/32 and the other about half that, and didn't notice any grip fall off. (fronts were at 2/32 at this point - worn unevenly last year before swaybar.)

At local series event Sunday I ran two runs on the old tires, then the rest on tires I bought in April, which were at about 4/32 after 35 runs. No dramatic difference in feel between sets.

I run 36 front, 32 rear, which handles well, and first recommended by several experienced S2000 drivers. (Hoosiers require higher pressure I'm told.)

Just for reference. My alignment is stock (if there is such a thing) and it seems that the rears wore evenly and the fronts showed more wear on the outer shoulder and little or non on the inner. I'm running 38/34. Do you think a simple 2lb drop in pressure front and rear would put more contact patch on the road? Maybe 38 is a bit high. What do you think?

Thanks

Outer shoulder wear in front suggests putting more neg camber in. Stock is 0.5. You can get 1.5 at adj limit.

Re pressure, all I know is that 36/32 works, and higher does not help, and if anything make rear less predictable.

I've been waiting to have the alignment done until i was fully set up (JDM's,spacers etc.) Looks like it's time!

I'll try dropping the pressures a couple of lbs. to.

Thanks for the info!
