Default KW Install, Tophat?

I'm seeing conflicting information on the pieces you use from the stock tophat on the KW v3.

Do you use the complete stock tophat in the same orientation as stock?

Do you use just the black washer and actual tophat?

Combination of the above?

The DIY install pages all have broken links to pictures or don't have the picture of what I'm looking for.

Also, one other question. When adjusting the settings...when they say .75 turns, does that mean 270* from the original starting point? Or .75 of one click.

There are no "clicks". 270 degrees.

Have you tried it yet? I remember it being pretty obvious.

Haven't tried it yet. I'm trying to do all the research I can ahead of time so it's a smooth process while working.

I have a few more days before I'm installing. If anyone else has input feel free.

I remember using every piece from the OEM tophats except the shock nut, for that I used the one from KW. Don't forget to include that flimsy plastic purple piece in between the spring and top hat, I missed that when I first installed them.

A note about adjusting the shock, keep in mind too that the adjustment window is 90* wide (or 1/4 turn), so a 3/4 adjustment would need 3 sweeps

Thanks for the input. That's what I had assumed it would be but I had come across some threads saying otherwise.

That's a good way of thinking of the adjustment window too.
