Default KW V3's

While at the local AutoX today, I noticed I had some oil at the top of both front shock rebound adjusters had a small about of oil leaking around them. The Right front adjuster had also backed out to 3-4 turns instead of the 2 it was at. (I don't know if it backed out on it's own or someone helped themselves to turning it)

Another S2000 at the same event with the KW V3's had seen some oil from the same adjusters.

Just curious if anyone else had seen it, or contacted KW about it. I plan on calling them tomorrow.

I'm the "other" S2000 and I had oil on the bottom rear adjusters.

How long have you guys had the KW's? It sounds like you'll need a rebuild.

I've only had mine about 6-8 months.

I had my rear blow a little over a year ago...

Ludedude got me in touch with KW NorthAmerica and I sent my rear two coilovers to them. 3 weeks later I had them back on my car. They didnt charge me, but the might have still been under warrenty. Regardless, you dont have to send them back to germany, KW is also in california and they did a nice job rebuilding mine.

I don't know if it's normal on the KW's but almost all Koni SA's weep a little from the top adjusters and it doesn't hurt anything if it's not excessive.

It's a pretty small about of oil, and they aren't making anymore noise than before. Both cars had handling issues not related to the shocks.

My car had my old front bar setting from the last set of narrower front tires and RacerIX's car was on bald Azenis
