I just an email about this and I called Aaron Tachibana of the Miata Performance Club and he needs about 5 to 7 more cars to break event and hold an event at Laguna on the 28th.

Yes thats this coming Monday

This was a short notice cancellation and Laguna offered him the track.

Cost is $350 for up to 20 cars!!! Talk about ZERO traffic.

If he can get more than the 5-7 needed to reach 20, the price will go down.

I am gonna try and make it, anyone else? A full day of no traffic laps around Laguna?

 

Egads! Is that price right? The email i got mentioned $200.

 

If you do the math tho. $350x20=$7000. Thats dirt cheap for a day at laguna.

The email you got was an interest inquiry about them hosting a day. $200 would get you your 4x20 sessions. Aaron T. was offered the day first and if he takes it NASA doesn't get it.

 

Ahhh... Got it. Yup, had it confused with what NASA was offering.

 

I'm game if I can get outta work. But I'm willing to commit to it.
