Nope, pinion gears are still weak. Still broke one on a Comptech bearing capped diff and Marc broke an AP2 diff after tons of launching (ProSolo on A6s).

Boosted miles are nothing. It's the drag launches on stickies that they can't handle.

I did 800-1000 launches on 255/40/17 street tires in my ap1 without a failure over the course of 4 years....

Which is why it's important that the OP specifies what conditions and equipment he is using.

Street tires, really not a problem. And your 800-1000 launches are probably not full launches if its the standard turn autocross start. I don't think you've been to that many ProSolos where the launch box is rubbered in concrete...
