Default Launching a Turbo Car

Hey guys what is the least destructive, best way to launch to 300WHP 04, Clutch and rear-end are stock. Street tires.

I know it is damaging either way, but is it better to just dump the clutch at around 3,000rpms, or better to bring the RPMS to around 5k, and ride the clutch out?

i would opt for the 5k slip.

with all that torque, a dump would be detrimental (sp) i would think on stock bits

all depends on how much you care how good your time is... you will be best off to rev to about 5k (around) and feather the clutch. but its all up to you! good luck!

feather the clutch as in slowly let it out, and then when its fully out, floor it? I have 237ft/lbs of Torque at like 3,000RPMS, so I dunno my luck Ill blow the thing up

yes, dont slam the gas to the floor. hold the revs at about 5k and slowly release the clutch until its disengaged than punch it.

control the revs at about 5k with the throttle till the clutch is out, then you'll prob spin on the street in which case, feather it the best you can till 8k. on the track you should be alright getting on it when the clutch is disengaged.

Careful with the feathering, especially doing it multiple times back-to-back. Pretty easy to warp a clutch doing that.

More like fry/overheat the clutch. With more torque from the turbo, you will easily overheat the clutch and it will continue to slip without biting.

I prefer to slip the clutch a tiny bit to get the car rolling (a few hundreths of a second) and then drop it once everything is loaded and the car is moving, then modulate the THROTTLE -not the clutch.
