Default LHT Performance Master Cylinder Brace

I found this the other day by accident right after I'd bled the brakes out and had watched the cylinder moving around

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/861...ylinder-brace/

I thought I'd post it up here since I've not seen any LHD options out there.
I'll post some feedback when I get it installed

A brace made a big difference in pedal feel on my old Integra. I think I'm going to buy this one.

How come they didn't test the deflection with the brace installed?

Interesting. I felt a night & day difference when I installed an mbc on my old STi. But then again, Subaru brakes are a POS. I'll give this a shot. Thanks for posting!

I'd like to have a firmer brake pedal but that piece is butt ugly and looks like it weighs 5 pounds. Maybe the Chinese knockoff will get it right.

it turned up already just in time for the track tommorrow

Its not that heavy rob but its a decent weight/thickness of metal

had to bend a few abs lines clear of it, started the car up and I could see the master cylinder wasn't moving anymore

I'm a little nervous if there is any flex from the suspension mount it could actually push on the cylinder under braking and maybe cause a lockup

Will find out tommorrow I guess

Which lines did you have to bend?, I installed them on many AP1s and AP2s with no bending. Let me know how it feels after your track event. We used to build them for ITR track cars and got great feedback.

The Brace is made from high carbon steel so we could make it thin enough for a Strut tower bar to fit over without giving up strength. It weighs 1.2 lbs. It's powder coated satin black as it's not a "Bling piece".It was designed to be strong and keep the price down, We could offer it in Titanium but the price would be significantly higher.
It's priced at $79 shipped UPS with paypal fees,I think it's a fair price, It's also 100% made in the USA.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Here's an after video.
