Default Lift question

I will soon take my S to Sebring. I am concerned with what feels like lift at high speeds. I have had the car 1 year. It has no aero mods and when hitting speeds over say 120 the car feels like it wants to dance around. I expect to reach higher speeds at Sebring coupled with the notorious bumpy runways I wondered what your thoughts are on this. The suspension is stock, my previous track experience is with an m3 and it felt more stable.

I felt very un-safe with this car above 100mph and share the same concerns. I just installed a front splitter and it has renewed so much confidence in high speed stability. The front end used to float and the steering was so light, now the wheel feels heavy and the car planted.

So far I don't feel the need for a wing out back, but I will see.

I've been as fast as red lining 5th gear and never felt the least little bit nervous about the car being planted. I'd say check your alignment.

Whatever you do, don't hit Sebring with a splitter and no wing. Get a wing, long before you think about a splitter.

A planted front end will feel nice and confidence inspiring until your back end, benefiting from no corresponding increase in downforce, comes around in a high speed corner.

Listen to these guys, not me. I haven't been to the track with the splitter yet!

I've topped my car out in 6th gear and it felt fine. I could tell there was lift, but the car was still stable. Check your alignment.

Again I am new to s 2000. I am about to replace the tires and get an alligment. My hunch is the front wheels are toe OUT based on the fact that the inner half of the fronts are much more worn and the car really tugs the steering wheel when the tires find a rut in the pavement. The suspension is stock.

Thanks for your feedback

That's negative camber.
