I'm looking for a light caliper kit and search yielded nothing even though I remember this fact being mentioned in a previous thread.

Personally, I'm only looking for front brakes but for reference some info on a kit for all four would be nice. I remember someone mentioning you could save up to 28lbs in just calipers alone.

I know rotors can be made of carbon ceramic and all sorts of things that would float away if given the chance so I'd like to concentrate this thread on calipers only.

 

Wilwood Dynalite 4 pot calipers and rotors shave 30lbs.

I dont think calipers are considered un-sprung weight.

 

i think they are.... especially stock ones...

 

I had a recent debate about this, someone told me unsprung weight was only what spins (rotors and rims) but it's actually what isn't carried by the suspension...

I assume this is what I would want. But which one do we use for our car? There is no S2000 listing. And who is retailing this product?
