It's a fantastic track. Even better now because they redid the surface. I've been on it a few times, but never in my S due to their PITA rules. I.e. Must have an aftermarket approved rollcage or hardtop.
I believe it's a bar required not a cage, but I could be wrong.
Check with them because a couple years ago they said one thing and then we showed up and wouldn't let the S's on. This is why I don't bother with my S here. I suggest a roll bar. However it is a fantastic track and plenty of run off onto grass so your car doesn't get ruined, unlike Watkins.

Limerock track rules are that you have to pass the broomstick test. Sitting in car with helmet on if you lay a broomstick from windshield to main roll bar hoop, your helmet should be below it. There is an 89 db sound limit on most all days. It is very rare to have unmuffled days that aren't racer testing or race days.
Some clubs have a no convertible policy unless it is a log-booked racecar. That is a club insurance thing and not something that anyone at the track, from Limerock or the actual club can do anything about.
I'm generally at all of the SCDA events, my favorite group to run with, though not in an S2k. www.scda1.com

I have heard many times the broomstick rule brought up...I was planning on running with CART and PDA this year, but if I can find more clubs I can run with at LimeRock I may.
I have yet to run there in my S but I have had an instructor from SCDA with a S with the old Elda(basically the Harddog) bar who runs there often so I would not think it a track problem if you get the bar. rule may have changed so check with them and the groups you plan to run with.
