I would just get good pads and not change the calipers...
other than that sounds like a PITA for a Daily Driver.
But should be quite fun.
yah calipers will be more of an aesthetic/ semi functional improvement thing...but i have a smoking deal on a set from a friend...too hard to pass up.

I dont commute to work, work from home, so "daily driver" for me is 7pm drive for fun:>

^indeed. Properly setup it is, IMO, safe to wear for daily driving.

No. Key words being "in my opinion" and your opinion is wrong. A harness is not safe when it comes to an accident in an s2000 (unless you wear a helmet on the street).

^please do explain. I would like to hear how a 4-5 point harness with an FIA race seat, certified rollbar with a harness set behind the driver at a horizontal to the shoulder is unsafe.

submarining aside.

Are you going to wear a helmet and HANS in your daily driving?

Actually, the key words were "IMO."

People are entitled to their own opinions.

Expectation - balanced car that is fun to drive, handles well, and semi-competitive at lapping days with other 1.8-2.5 L motors.
You just described a bone stock S2000 Get the car on the track and decide what you would like to add/remove from the car to achieve your objectives.
