Personally I wouldn't use a Honda rear diff for this purpose I would use something else like a nissan diff and housing. Having just finished working on a nightmarish s2000 drift car it's cheaper and honestly more fun to buy a 180sx if you plan to drift it occasionally. A two way diff alone is going to be a sizable investment, almost what a used suitable platform like the 180 might go for. The only purpose built s2000 drift car I've driven wasnt what I would call a true drift car and I feel like my old fwd civic could actually 4 wheel or true drift much much though not at the lower speeds a rwd car is able to.

However there have been some successfully done cars like this one

You might try to message the poster about it though even the drift king seems to have trouble with the spoon sports backed drift car videos of which can also be found on youtube.

I drifted the j's racing s2000 before. While it is not easy, it is not that hard. If we make a few changes and have locked diff I bet we can make it a pretty good drift car.

That being said, this is not about building a true drift car. I just want to play around with it. I picked up a used rear end for $250 with a completely good LSD. It is a shame to weld this LSD, but puddy said he have a broken LSD that he can trade with me.

I want to have 2 different rear end, 1 with locked diff and the other one stock for street driving and occasional track day. Although with my racing schedule I might not have time to do track day this year.
