Default Loose ARP wheel extended studs?

Hi all,

I replaced my bearings and wheel studs last year with extended ARP studs and new Timken bearings on my track car. It has about 12 track days this year on it (I wrecked last weekend). I noticed my passenger front wheel has two studs that are loose. They don't spin, just wobble slightly. I tried to use a lug nut to tighten them on the hub and it helped a bit but still wobble. Any experience with this?

I had a similar thing happen but waiting until the stud spun and could not be torqued down. Two spot welds on the back of the stud got me by until I installed all new wheel bearings and ARP extended studs all the way around. It’s been a year and no issues.

The wheels can still be torqued down and I was going to spot weld them as a last resort and saw that people do that in a pinch. I already have a replacement hub and bearing but it is more of a spare for the track and the current bearings are fine. Just two stubborn studs are a little wobbly.
