Which lug nuts?
Just bought a new set of Enkei RPF1 for my race car (17x9). I started searching for lug nuts and there a LOT of different choices too many if you ask me. Which brand is reliable? Already have upgraded studs and this is a RACE car so I don't care what they look like just want them to be strong and reliable. Road race guys what are you running?
I use Gorilla lugs. Cheap and readily available at many retail outlets.
Also I recommend aluminum lugs so if you accidentally cross-thread it just fubars the nut instead of the stud. Lugs are cheap and easy to replace, studs not so much.

Use anti-seize if you're going open end lugs.
For the money, 949s and Gorilla lugs are great. For more money - CounterSpace Garage makes some nice ones too. Name brand stuff - well, they're more expensive for the same stuff as the last thre I've mentioned.
I don't think there's much point going with Rays, Project Kics, or any other JDM bling.
At the end of the day, they're lugs, kind of hard to screw up. 949s or Gorillas are the way to go for me - cheap and functional. They just need to keep my wheels from flying off and not snap or screw up the threads on my studs.
