"Mandatory Roll Bar" for BSR classes?
I'm enjoying the heck out of my new to me s2k. I have been riding motorcyles on track now for 5 years and am very familiar with Summit Point but have never been into 4 wheel speed until a recent accident I had at Summit.
I'm interseted in taking this course but it suggests a "Mandatory Roll Bar". In my eyes the s2k doesn't have a "roll bar" or what I'd be familiar with on other Convertibles that I have noticed a true "roll bar" visibly when the tops is down.
Has anyone attended BSR events or know if the stock supports for the top consider as a roll bar? Personally when I look at the setup I'd hate to roll in the car becuase I don't feel that proctected but maybe that's just me.

Thanks ahead of time for the great info.

We actually have a functional and tested roll over protection. There is actaully bars under those plastic covers.
So they state "Functional factory or "pop up" roll bars are acceptable such as Porsche Boxster or BMW Z3. " I think that we would meet that requirement.

Keep in mind, though, that there's a difference between the roll hoops on the S2000, and "real" protection, (i) for tall people who stick above the plane of the windshield/roll hoop (especially with a helmet) and (ii) if you were to roll on soft ground, the roll hoops can dig into the ground more than a full roll bar/cage would.
I'm speaking as one who did perhaps 30 track days in his S2000 with stock roll protection, so I'm hardly saying that you shouldn't do it. But I finally saw enough cars roll in HPDE events that I got a car with full roll protection.

Stock S2000's are 100% OK with BSR, been going to FATTs and Seat time events for years.
Other clubs that run there have different rules, but you are good to go with BSR.
I have many laps at Summit main in a R6 and a FZR400.
