Since you have used both the standard and low profile mount, which one do you think offers a better point of view?

RAM mounts are excellent, I'm using one on my modifry dash bracket. Depending on the bolt pattern that the quick snap mount uses it looks like this would work on the spare mount that comes with the modifry bracket. Even if the holes don't line up I bet a few strips of the grey 3M double sided moulding tape would be plenty strong enough to hold it.

It really depends on the camera you're using, the GoPro's sit a bit tall. The video I posted above is with a GoPro and the low pro mount.

This video is taken with a Sony point and shoot w230 and the modifry regular mount.

Try one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Mini-T...ht_2655wt_1250

I'm sure there will be US/HK sellers too) It screws directly into the Modifry Mount and works reasonably well.

I use it with a Galaxy S2, but it'll hold an iphone perfectly well. Here's an example:

If anyone is looking to buy the Modifry camera mount I have one that I've installed but never actually used. PM me if interested.

Just picked one of these up. Nice product, the secret compartment definitely needs some rubber bumpers added to avoid crazy rattling sounds dramatically picked up by a mounted go pro, so I am looking into doing that today. A simple quick workaround is putting a micro fiber cloth over the latches of the glove box and secret compartments, so they close up nice and tight. Also make sure to remove any loose items from the secret compartment that might rattle around and transmit sound to the camera mic.

I have been wanting to try a setup using a proper external sound recorder as well. GoPro mic is decent under certain circumstances but no comparison to a real mic setup.

I have this and it's very flimsily and I have broken one. I haven't found one that is built better and I was going to fab one up with aluminum but I got lazy
