Bummer about getting punted like that. How bad was the car? Were you able to continue on w/ minor repairs or were you done for the weekend? How much were the repairs?

I hope you don't mind me asking. I'm thinking of getting in to Club Racing next year (not w/ an S) and that's what I really worry about is getting hit and having to pay for repairs.

Weekend was done, we put it back together and won 2 weeks later.
It's a complicated thing, but go for it and it will all work out.

I have a newbie question~!
Why s2k spinned out? It didn't seem like a tight corner.
Did somebody push him?
That bite was so sudden... now I'm scared to go to the track..

 

Holy shit Marty! While I was there that day, and I knew that Bernardo had tagged you unfairly, I had no idea it was so bad. I thought it was somewhere mid-corner, maybe under braking, not accelerating out of the corner.

Lot of restraint not to go pound his face afterward.

thanks, beyond flagrant. He actually hits me twice, i peek in the mirror when i get hit first....

Note to new racers(me included): There are a few flagrant ass clowns in every race group, but all good racers and most of the field can race close and tough without much problem....but it is racing! have fun.
