Napa Rotors?
Anyone tried Napa rotors at the track? They are so cheap, I figure I can take a couple of sets and replace them during the day if they don't hold up.
I did my first trackday in the S a couple of weeks ago. WHAT A BLAST! This car is so much fun on the track. Very tossable, controllable and forgiving.
I was driving on an open track day with a buddy sharing my S and we went through an entire set of XP12s at the front in one day... May be time for some cooling ducts. Any other recommendations for front pads?
Thanks gang.

I have no first-hand knowledge, but I have heard from several people that they have used them at the track with no ill efects. They are just chinese knockoffs using oem castings. I plan to use them when I track mine.
If anyone has a negative experience with them I'd love to hear about it, but I've only heard

OK, I'll be the beta tester. I'll pick up a couple of sets and see how they do.
Yes. I was there with Chin on April 15th. I like their format. Lots of track time, laid back rules (pass anywhere), etc.

As compared to a 1989 930 turbo with about 600hp. The s2000 is like driving a baby stroller...
Seriously though. It does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. Rotates when you lift, digs and bites when you get on the gas. You can control everything that happens at any point in the turn with just your right foot. I found it a very, very fun car to drive.
What I meant by forgiving is that the car doesn't do anything it isn't supposed to do. Is it tail happy? Yes. But fast, fun sports cars are supposed to be tail happy.
Stopping the rotation is as simple as applying a little more throttle and a, maybe, a touch of counter steer.
