jfo will be there in H1. I'm not sure if any of our guys are going to spectate or not. Things didn't exactly go as planned this year for me or else I'd be there donating.

I will tell you that 3 of us will be running TTC next year collectively. I've just removed the 2.5L so I could fit my car into that class.

If you're willing to share, I'd like to hear about y'all's TTC setups. I've been building a spreadsheet to see where I'd fall, and if I slap on a set of 245-series Hoosiers, I'm almost into TTB already. How do you guys keep the points down? Stock shocks? Not running Hoosiers? The things that kill me on points would be the Hoosiers (+10 for 245mm) and my Tein RAs (+7 for dampers w/ piggyback, +2 for springs).
Add those to my intake/header/exhaust and I'm sitting at 39 points, before any weight loss calculations.

What points do you guys accrue?

I've removed almost everything that was a points mod: bsk, underbrace, cai, stroker, aem ems, fuel delivery, exhaust, etc.

Currently:

+3 - Koni Yellows revalved/dble adj

+2 - Springs

+2 - Gendron front bar

+1 - Cat-converter delete

+5 - GTC-200 wing

+6 - RA-1's(5 + 1 for rears being 255's)

That's +19. Add the 14 for the car and I'm at +33. I'm not sure if my Veilside hood constitutes aiding the air intake(I know it doesn't), but if they do assess a point for it, I'll either add a FIPK or CAI(and leave the hood on) for the one point or put the stock hood back on. Heat is not a problem for such short track sessions.

Let's say I keep the hood/CAI, I'm at +34. I would most likely swap out the RA-1's in favor of 245 Hoosiers. That would take me to +38. The problem now is that I do not know the weight of my car since I put a lot of stock parts back on. The final manipulation of the 5 or 6 points I have to work with will be determined by the vehicle's weight. I need the vehicle to weigh a minimum of 2635lbs in order to not take any add'l points.

Skip, what about your front lip/bumper?

Heres mine
9 - KWV3 (7 pt shock + 2 pt spring)

2 - Gendron Bar

1 - Cat delete

2 - Cat back exhaust

5 - GTC-200

6 - RA-1s (255 x 4)

1 - Front lip/splitter? (our TT director gave me a "pass" for this because it really has no performance value)

That puts me at the max amount of points, although not really the best use of them.
Id say a s2k with 245x4 Hoosier A6s, Front Bar, Good Coilovers, maybe a little engine tunning would be the fastest for TTC (without "wasting" points on aero)

I have an AP1 front on there. The TS will be sold, most likely to Kelvin.

And, I believe you incorrectly assessed your cat-back exhaust. I thought it was one point- two points with the cat-delete. Actually, the lip does serve a small purpose. It is lower than the front stock bumper, thereby becoming a dam, albeit a small one and not nearly as effective as one lower to the ground.

I believe aero is important. Since scratching out significant add'l power is costly both from a monetary standpoint and points-wise, I plan to attack this dog differently than you and Calvin. In fact, if I can find a wing that is close to the +3 limits, I'll take that and add a front splitter versus power mods.

^ Yeah, that rule sucks. You get charged twice for the cat delete if you do a cat+exhaust (or if you use a headerback exhaust, like my R1000).

ok here I go:

Ra-1s 235/255 +6
Reflashed ECU +5
Header+2
Exhaust+2
Cat Delete+1
Shocks+5
Springs +2
Swaybar+2 everything = 23+14=37.

I was told that i couldnt run the OEM front lip with out getting points assest so thats coming off, and passenger seat is coming out again no points.
