a little off topic but how do you like the hyperflex bushings? ever had any troubles? did you tap the control arms for grease passages or anything?

I turn 1:04's at LRP on RS3's in what is basically a TT3 evo (but definitely not optimised/full tweaked), one of the TT2 guys ran a 0:59 in 2012 on street tires and missing his front splitter.

unfortunately i think an s2000 not a well equipped car for TT2, TT3 possibly if you can really wheel. Sweet spot is definitely TTC/B

(this is coming from someone who currently tracks an evo and is moving into an s2k to pursue honda challenge in the coming years)

What cars are running mostly in TTC/TTB?

How are the DFVs? Do you have comparison data with any other setup?

Also haven't installed yet. Car is about 1/3 of the way complete. Using Koni Yrllow ground Controls now. Want a better shock but don't want adjustability as I'll adjust it into poor results . Heard nothing but great things about the ohlins except that you can't run too high of a spring.

i never payed much attention, since i hang with all the evo guys. TTB was won this season by a female driven STI and had participation from a couple mustangs and E36 m3's. I don't know anybody in TTC.

TT a/b/c have notoriously weak participation numbers in the northeast, so a lot of guys are moving up to 3.

Looking at it again I may look to build for TT3. I think this would be the perfect amount of power. I'm going to see what my tuner can do to maximie torque and powerband while limiting to the 9.1 p/w. Probably won't focus on this till 2015 as most of this yr will be spent dialing the car in and improving my skills, but it's good to have a target. Also probably going to pick up an extra set of wheels and run real tires

Isn't it +6 for 225 A6's? (30mm smaller than TTC 255mm allowable tire).

The S2k is best in TTC. In TTB it is underpowered but can still be prepped to win as long as you can wheel. Build the car around the stickiest tire you can run (Hoosier A6/7) and go from there. Downsize tire to get points back if needed. Starting out, I wouldn't worry about being on A6's. Just get used to competing. Who know's, you may still be competitive depending on who shows up. You can lap for years in HPDE and plateau. Running TT will force you to be faster and find time where you never knew to look. Often times it comes down to hundredths of a second whether you win tires or not. This has a way of bringing out the best in most people not to mention the $5 trophy

If you are on a budget, I would also recommend selling the supercharger and prepping for TTC/B. It isn't just the cost of the charger. Your consumables and wear costs will be exponentially higher. You will also be at a considerable disadvantage in TT1-3 competing against the high hp cars like Corvettes that were originally designed to handle that much power. They have longer wheelbases to better handle high speed cornering and can easily fit big tires. A S2k and a Corvette given equal power to weight ratios the vette will still be faster on the top end because they are very slippery. The S is not very aerodynamic. I'm not saying you can't be competitive in the higher classes, but there are definitely better platforms to start out with in those classes. Besides, the most boring part of the track are the straightaways.
