Nazareth
Ran a NASA event at Nazareth yesterday with a stook. It's a 1 mile tri-oval. I was sceptical at first, but it's a blast and the organizers and flagging were top notch. The instructors showed the correct line, and it's very different to what you might think is correct. Slow in, really slow, so you don't scrub off speed plowing through the turn and lose exit speed.
Turn out was very low because the event was not publicized. That's probably why I won the C class time trial with a 37.8 sec time. I saw 109-111 on the back straight. Won a free entry to NASA's next Nazareth!!!! Fastest time was an M3 with slicks, springs, lightened, etc. @ a 34.8.
The CART cars see 220mph on the straight, with a 197 average. Puts things in perspective.
I definitely recommend NASA's Nazareth events to everyone.
P.S. Don't flame the tri-oval's till you've run Nazareth!
