Need endlinks for Gendron front bar
I've been using FK Rod Ends JMX6TY and JFX6TY (3/8 Teflon lined rod ends) for front endlinks on my Gendron bar. They're nice because they use a stud instead of a through bolt so they give a little extra clearance to the shock. The problem is that they seem to wear out and start clunking pretty quickly, I get less than a year of street and autocross use out of a set. That's pretty annoying for the cost! (I'm in Canada, everything costs more...)
Any suggestions for something that's more durable? Anyone know what Gendron supplies with his bars now?

I emailed Bill a while back to enquire about spare links, brackets, and bushings just in case. He'll sell them to you, but they aren't cheap!
Oh, and I've had the hardware Bill supplied on my bar for well over a year now, and no noises or issues have come up.

My McMaster Carr endlinks have about 1.5 years of use + daily driven in a minnesota winter on them. 2 events ago I developed a clunk. Took the endlinks off, cleaned them up real good and actually shortened them by grind some length off of both the male and female sides (for better steering boot clearance).
Put it all back together and no clunk at all! Not sure why, but you guys might want to give them the once over before you just replace them.

He uses stainless steel end links now, not sure if that's what you/Jeff we're offered. They've been good to me, it's worth trying them out.
Good luck,
Nick

Corey's bar has actually already been drilled out to use a bigger shank. That means that the standard links that Bill sells now, if they're the same as the one that came with last year's group-buy bar, will not work.
Mine have actually been working well for over a year now. They don't have enough angular motion, but the arms are compliant enough to compensate for that over big bumps, and the bar just shifts a bit while cornering, which has been ok for me so far. I don't get any clunks, just the occasional click when both sides compress at once.
In short, we need a bigger end link (5/16" shank i think?). We're probably going to end up putting my bar on his car, but I don't want to put his clunky old endlinks on my car.

Search around on this forum, there is at least one post with complete part numbers to order from McMaster Carr.
