Default Need help with S2K Challenge at Big Willow

I've given up trying to sort out who whas driving what and when (and with whose transponder!) at Big Willow on 7/2-3. So, if you were there, please post up the following for each day:
- Your best lap time in your car
- Overall best lap time in your car (e.g. if someone else drove it, with or without your xponder), and driver
- Classing of your car
- Your best lap time in any other S2K you drove, if applicable
- Classing of the other S2K(s) you drove

You are also encouraged to post:
- Relevant Smack Talk and/or Excuses ("It was really hot" is not a valid excuse, since we already knew that)
- Next event you plan to attend (see Schedule & Results sticky-thread for list)

I'll be consulting the bylaws to see if those who drove multiple cars in different classes can claim points in each class. For now let's just try to rank the absolute times by class.

I don't want the Challenge Series to languish. Let's keep up the interest and participation!

Okay.

My best times in my white car (MOD) are as shown on SV's website. Drew also drove my car on Sat, but these are my times . My excuse for why they are so slow (couldn't break 1:35 , and expected to break 1:34) is that I believe the broken catalytic converter with impaired flow was hurting HP (I verified it's broken this weekend as the sensor is all bent up). No matter how I tried I couldn't get to 90 (indicated) in turn 2, and I could even stay in 4th all the way to braking for turn 1 on the front straight (and I had the wing with 0* angle of attack), so I was definitely down on power (usually I shift to 5th at the start/finish). Otherwise I might have beated Kyle and been closer to Ry.

Seems like the times for the grey car are not posted on SV's site, even though they were on the print outs at the track, under "Grey Ghost". Doesn't matter though, as the engine was just being gently broken in, so times are irrelevant (though Dave did a 1:32 on Sunday, so would qualify for 2nd in Unlimited behind Ry). Maybe I had a third place time on Sunday, but wasn't checking.

Now a bunch of us drove Ry's street S in a challenge, and I protest my posted time at the track of 1:42's as there was no way I was 7 seconds slower than in my white car. The timer must have been screwed up . My times should have also been recorded in the data logger in the car, but Ry won't tell me what it recorded .

Oh, I might make it to one of the days of the next Big Willow in 2 weeks if I can get kid coverage. Which day is the Honda Cup race, or are there races both days?

37.x bitterman, 38.x me, will 39.0, dave 39.5, not sure on the rest, karner WAY slow.

OK, I've updated the Challenge Series event results and points standings; I used a combination of timing data from the SV site and hearsay from the various threads:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=274603

I elected to count the mini-challenge in Rylan's car on 7/3 toward MOD points for the day, and also to allow drivers to pick up points in every class for which they drove a car. So, for example, on 7/3, Ry picked up 10 points in Unlimited and another 3 points in MOD. Similarly, based on hearsay alone, davepk picked up 6 pts in UL and 1 pt in MOD.

Let me know if you have any corrections to make, or if you're missing from any of the results. In particular, it wasn't clear if the following people posted times on 7/2-3:

Drewchie: any Unlimited and/or MOD times on 7/2-7/3?
Richard: any Unlimited times on 7/2-7/3?
davepk: any Unlimited times on 7/2?
DrTONE: any Unlimited times on 7/3?
