Default NEED OEM Radiator

While checking out the action at Thunderhill today my radiator sprung a leak at the top plastic seam. Anyone out there upgrade to aluminum and have a OEM lying around?

Please let me know.

-Derek

PS Rylan, Dave and James - my car made it all the way home but started puking coolant in traffic at the Bay Bridge! Never went over 3 bars on the temp guage. Amazing. Although it sucked driving with no A/C and the heater on in 90 degree weather for 165 miles...

something very similar happened to my friend but only a small leak. when he flushed out the coolant there was oil in it and the head gasket was warped with no signs of overheating.

good luck

But looks like it's pretty far from Thunderhill.

I found a radiator already but the coolant does have oil in it. Makes me think the factory temp guage is based on a timer not on actual temperature.

I'll just stick it in the trailer for now until I find some time to mess around with it. Anyone know a good/cheap S2k mechanic in the Bay Area? (I know those two words rarely go together)

most of us run stock motors. The gains imo are pretty minimal. The motor comes pretty ballanced from the factory. Tho I'd love to see what rebello could do. There are some guys building crazy NA motors but not sure if those guys (Crower, Inline Pro, uhm and I forget the others) have done much in the confines of t/it rules.
