Default Need sway bar opinions

Current setup Koni/GC coil overs 550lbs all the way around TR Motorsport's 17x9 +48 w/ 255/40-17 RS3 v2 Ran on this setup Sunday at autocross and I'm still having a lot of over steer, I'm trying to figure out what the best approach to this is...

Bigger front bar ( saner, gendron )

Smaller rear bar ( Miata )

Or remove rear bar.

I think I'll start with no rear bar, because it's free and seems to work well. I do like the idea of having a bar though that's why I like the Miata idea. The bigger front bar I'm not really a fan of but running the spring rates I am, I think it may really help. I have done a fair bit of research I'm looking more for people with experience with more then one option to chime in. Benefits and down sides

Why do you want a larger front bar if you are understeering?

larger bar on the front will make it understeer MORE if nothing else is changed. You maybe meant you are OVERsteering
You should be oversteering not understeering.
550lb springs are actually not that stiff and most people run the larger bar with much stiffer rates.
I think you should look into alignment first.

You're probably going into the corner too fast. No amount of sway bar tuning will fix that. What does the car do on throttle?

Post video, preferably with an angle that shows your steering inputs.

It's a lot easier to see it than try to guess if you're describing it accurately.

"Understeer" is way not descriptive enough. It's not that simple.

You can't skip over alignment on your way to bar adjustment.

I fixed the post, I meant oversteer.

I don't have any in car video ( I don't have a go pro, and I'm working on a cell phone mount )

Alignment
Front camber 1.5 rear 2.4
Front toe .00 rear .04 (total toe .08)
Caster 6.0

Oversteer in the morning with half a tank of gas tires at 36 psi(I mean the rear of the car was almost uncontrollable)

Lowed psi to 32 and filled up the tank and improved dramatically, was still sliding a little more then I wanted on tight turns

Left the tires at 32 the rest of the day Lowered rear dampening a 1/4 turn maybe, and it felt a lot better.

I understand my driving may be to blame to some extent but I'm just trying to get the car to a point where I'm comfortable with it, and then focus on me

IMO you need less rear spring (or more front but 550 is max for ots yellows) and a larger front bar. The Gendron bar is a big cost but it will bring the square setup alive more then anything else.

I am on a square setup with stock springs/shocks and a Gendron 1.25" hollow.

Before I had the front bar the car was difficult to get any drive out of the corner. Just oversteer. After the bar, it is much better. With about 100 lb spring diff front to back (550f 450r) I think it would be a good balance.

I vote Eibach front sway and no rear bar. But I'm pretty cheap. I'm Ap1 and like the balance. Plus at under $200 shipped a pretty nice deal.

Disconnecting the rear bar should be a last ditch effort if the car is unruly on any given competition day.

That being said you should try and balance the car out WITH the rear bar than without. Just my personal opinion.

OP - I recommend one of the larger bars for you in the front. everything else stays the same. Gendron, Saner, etc.
