Looks to me like Chris Willard, of eXtremeSpeedTrackEvents, formerly of Redline Time Attack/Track Events is behind this.

 

Obviously all motorsports marketing plans start with using the word extreme instead of using the phrase common sense. You can't build an empire based on whats important right now like flashy words and bold claims you build it on solid thinking like the SCCA and that's why all of these organizations are doomed to fail and are ultimately pointless.

I'll stick to track days and battle my own lap times if I feel the need. Would be nice to dust off the old competition license but there's not really anything interesting out there for me right now. Maybe the Continental series if I could afford it.
