Default Newest Fastrack

So according to the new fast track. SEB has decided to move the S2k from BSP to CSP for solo events. Very interesting.

The S2000 has not been moved to CSP yet. They are looking for feedback. Write a letter if you are in support (or not) of the move.

CSP would be a great move! 4wd plus uncontrolled boost just doesn't make it fair.

I would also be for the move. I think, though, that it'll be slower than the top Miatae.

What you don't think that 70-80HP can make up for 600-700lbs?

I agree - the car fits better there but it will be a tough hill to climb.

FYI - Last I heard Schenker's car weighs 1960 and makes 160-170 at the wheels.

Good move.

No way a S2000 is going to be able to beat EVO/STIs in BSP.

S2000 will have a pretty hard time in CSP but it might be possible.

Agreed. But a full rules prepped S2000 will at least have a chance there.

Personally, I don't think the S2K will be an overdog in CSP. I'd expect the Miata to be better most of the time. They are significantly lighter (600lbs), still run a ton of tire, and should out accelerate an AP2 to mid/low 40's.

The top Miata's are often capable of running top BSP Evo times. The times I have been close or beaten Berry, we were often straight-timed by Schenker.

I would however prefer to be in CSP, if only because we wouldn't be super-fracked at Pro's (not a factor for Solo classing) and when they conditions aren't ideal.

There's a reasonable argument that CSP isn't broken and BSP should be fixed. Whatever your opinion, write a letter.
