Default Non-staggered with higher front spring rate

Who is running non-staggered wheels and tires at the track with a higher front rate than the rear? I have a 06 that I just picked up. I've got a track day on the 19th. I have 17x9 wheels x4, 255 RS3's x4, SPC camber front, xp12/10, and 381f/244r springs on the way. Due to running the non-staggered setup I thought the higher front rates were spot on. I'm just wondering if I might need a little more front bar?

I'm running 650lb springs and that's considered very soft for some people.
Are you on stock shocks? If so then I think it'll be pretty bouncy.

Yes stock shocks, my stock spring rate is 233/262. From reading the spring rate threads they are basically the spoon spring rates switched front to rear. All the spoon threads don't call the ride bouncy. Are you running non-staggered with higher front rates?

I think 90% or more of us who run non staggered have higher front rates.

I run that same tire setup with CR front springs/shocks and an AP2 rear sway on an AP1 MY2000. Seems perfect to me.

I think he meant that running stock shocks with higher, track-appropriate spring rates would result in a bouncy ride since the stock shocks are damped for streetable springs. Your proposed spring rates are still pretty soft -- they're pretty close to what the CR comes with stock.

Most of us N/A non-stag guys are running square springs with a front sway bar. You will find a lot of time if you go with a set of proper shocks vs. OEM with springs.

Thanks guys. Yup I will be looking into a proper shock. It will probably have to wait until later in the year. Most likely I will go with some AST 5000's. Until then its drop springs and wheels/tires.

theres a couple people running square but most are stiffer in the front. 300 range is so soft haha most of us are in the 700-850 range

Although i'm not hating I did "well" on stock shocks and springs with 255/40's

edit- my sig picture is on stock shocks, BIG front bar and no rear bar.
