Northeast Time trial & driving schools
The COM Sports Car Club holds high performance driving schools and time trials @ various roadracing tracks throughout the Northeast and Canada. COM has been doing this for 47 years now, so it's well organized. Rollbars required for open cars. No passing in a corner keeps it safe for everyone. Cars range from old RX7s and GTIs to ex- TransAm Vettes. There should be 3 S2000 running this coming year.
There are a couple worth taking a look at
SCDA great events biggest mix of cars www.scda1.com
Tracquest comes to the Glen tons of time www.tracquest.com
PDA this is where the 'merican cars play www.pdadrivingschool.com
BMWCCA is pretty active here in the Northeast, not sure how they handle open cars though. www.boston-bmwcca.org www.wmc-bmwcca.org www.gvc-bmwcca.org
That should get you started. At Limerock you will need a rollbar and be able to pass the "broomstick test" regardless of which organization you choose.
