Default Northeast Track Days

Welcome to Northeast Track Days. We're a new and exciting group whose main focus is to provide safe, quality track time at an affordable price. We offer drivers of all skill levels a chance to get out on track during our Standard Format events. During these events you will get a minimum of 4 driving sessions at 25+ minutes each, classroom sessions, in-car driving instruction, and small run groups for quality track time. Also, we offer events for experienced drivers only during our Long Format days. This will provide an experienced driver with a minimum of 5 driving sessions at 25+ minutes each, minimum of 2 ½ hours of total driving time, in-car driver coaching (if requested), classroom sessions, and again small run groups for quality track time. Please take a look at our remaining events for the 2014 season and visit our website for more information.

Found this in their FAQ:

Are convertibles allowed?

Yes, as long as fixed position rollover protection is in place and the driver's head is below the line from the top of the roll bar to the top of the windshield. Convertibles without rollover protection WILL NOT be allowed on track.

Unless you are really short, I'm gonna guess no to the stock roll hoops. They don't make it clear if this requirement includes the helmet, but I'm betting it does. I'm 5'10". With a helmet and stock seat, there is no way I would pass the requirement.

Hi billios996,

Stock rollover protection is OK as long as your head (with helmet) is below the line from the top of the windshield to the top of the roll hoop as highlighted by Conedodger. It certainly helps to have a shorter torso (unlike myself) to meet these requirements without seat and/or roll-bar modifications. Let me know if you meet the requirement.

Hi Conedodger,

Yes, your helmet must be on when measuring for this requirement. I know it's tough for a lot of the S2000 owners unfortunately.

That would be great! I'm a huge fan of the S2000's ever since I drove my brothers back in 2002. It would be nice to meet some of you at the track. We're not running LRP this season, but hoping to add them for 2015.

Yeah, we're trying to get the word out the best we can with NETS. I'll post up in the other sections too. I'd love to see a bunch of s2000's out there on track!

We had another great event at the newly renovated Thompson Speedway this past Tuesday! Beautiful weather, tons of track time, and of course the great drivers helped make it a successful day. Checkout our Facebook page for photos from Clarus Studios www.facebook.com/ntdtrackdays.

We’ll be at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on 8/7. It’ll be a Long Format event for experienced drivers only who will get a minimum of 2 ½ hours of track time, driver coaching (if requested), and classroom instruction. Don’t forget to Refer-A-Friend to this event so you both get credits towards future events!

We look forward to seeing you at the track!

Thank you,
David
