November 1st... weather is really nice today.
I wonder what it'll run in the April - September months.
Excellent driving and time anyway. I'm waiting for ringer to break 2 minutes in a STREET class S2k. I think he can do it if he ditches the GTC-200, gets a CR-wing and some 17x10 wheels and a testpipe.

I used to think weather was not as big a deal but I'm beginning to understand there is a full 1-3 if not more second swing from track conditions and weather. You really need it to be cool to set your goals.
Case in point: JJ and I both ran 2:03 on utterly terrible half assed driving session 1 yesterday (video up shortly as proof) and then dropped consistency and grip no more than AN HOUR later. Most people showed a +1-2 second increase after one hour of the sun coming up. Ridiculous.
We were both a little salty our run group got cut short in the morning and we couldn't capitalize on cold weather but we are both nailing a 2:01 once we have fresh tires and get out there. But I'll bet it rains next time we go out

Yes the FRS is roughly as fast as an S2000 at similar mod levels despite the HP deficit, I suspect mostly due to superior aero.
Interesting that Rob was running 255 square. I thought the FRS guys tended to run a narrower tire.
