I am considering it, thought I will be taking my STI not the S2000. Saves me towing a trailer and will be a hell of a lot more comfortable over 6000 miles!

It does sound like a blast but I'm not ready for that. No drive talent yet plus $tih breaks and I'm not good at fixing things fast. I hope you find someone and then share the story with us. A friend of a friend did it earlier this year but he left the track before I could get his story.

I know somebody who does it every year. In a Z3 M Roadster.

It is the most fun you can have with your clothes on My budget for racing,DE's next year is $0000 but I WILL do the OLOA . The S2000 would be in SSGT2 SB and as I posted on OLOA forums Seat-Time @ the tracks is paramount to a good event. You have to go BALLS OUT from the start of each Time Trial to be competitive.

There are 3 classes of competitors.

1. People who are just doing it to have fun/participate and finishing position/car prep are not priorities.
2. People who are looking for a class win/Top 10
3. People who are looking to WIN it all

A hint of what is important. The Class win trophies are app 25% of the size of the 10 place overall trophy and they get bigger from there.

I will be @Chin Dec 26/Sebring if you want to talk. Look for the Red E46 M3 with a few mods

Peter

Towing a trailer? I thought it was 1 set of tires.

Towing a trailer with all your stuff in it makes life easier to loading and unloading the car at each event. We had it down by the end and could have the GT3 loaded / unloaded in under 10 mins each way. A trailer you just unhook/hook up and go!

Makes sense. I'd do it if I could afford the time and the money.
