... need bigger spaces for TVs and enclosed trailers. I would hate to have the job of paddock chief!
Whoa, those must be some huuuuuge TV's to require bigger spots. LOL I keed... I know you meant RV's.

I agree about not wanting to be working the paddock duties. It's going to be interesting on how they handle those folk that reserved waaaaay too many spots. IMO, for those that tried to do that this year, should be amongst the last to be able to sign up next year. They really did make this 1st online experience a challenge.
I've read on SCCAforums that they are giving them an opportunity to quickly assign and consolidate voluntarily or it will be done for them. I've spoken with Randall and he's pretty well stated remedial action will be coming to the offenders to open up spots for those still left on the outside looking in.

I think most of the 15-20 spotters were region tents. They should have named them "Atlanta" or "Milwaukee" instead of putting them under someone's name, IMHO. In some cases, those 15 spots were auto-assigned to people who had contacted the head honchos about a region tent and had no idea their names were on it. It would have avoided some bad blood for people who didn't have spaces that thought these guys were hoarding.

BTW, there are >23 open spots now.

We got on nice and early and have a small philly section on the right side of the 3rd row (or row 2 as they number them in paddocknow), so that's where we'll be.

I actually originally had the left side but I didn't know you could grab multiple spaces under one name - it took time to switch scca number/email (I had a list of philly people), so I started claiming the left side, then spots around me were taken by someone just madly grabbing spots in their own name, so I switched to the right side. Had I known I could just grab 10 spots under my name then convert them to other people's names I would have...

But overall it went much better for us than for most so I'm not complaining.
