Dude, unless you are behind on your maintenance, basically all you have to do is clean the car out and show up.
After your first track day or two, you will start to find that your OEM brake pads are no longer suitable. At that point, you will want to buy some track pads. Assuming this is a daily driver, you will them want to learn how to swap your track brake pads with your street brake pads.
Next on the list will be replacing the brake fluid with DOT4 fluid like Motul 600 or ATE 200/Superblue.
After that, come back and ask the question again.
But the stock coolant and fluids and the like are just fine for the track.

At what mileage was the first time you guys changed out the tranny and diff fluid?
I just started really getting into Auto-Xing this year and I want to make sure I keep the car maintained nicely. Right now I have 16000 miles on the car without any fluid changes other than the motor oil roughly every 4000 miles.
Am I up for tranny and diff fluid changes or could I continue on with how it is now?
Andre

i'd do the diff fluid now... use LE-607...
depending on how much you auto-x... you can probably stick to the "severe usage" schedule on the owner's manual for the tranny...
regular auto-x'ers should chime in soon...
scared me for a sec... lol I was like when the hell did i post this, and why? lol
But to answer your questions.I would for sure do a high temp brake fluid before going on ANY track. Valvoline Syntech is pretty readily available at any autozone etc, and will work well for your purposes. If you can afford to, id do upgraded pads also check your rotors for any flaws or cracks etc.

I think the second j's should change his name.
on the track ready things and fluids.
changing the diff and trans fluid can't hurt.
I would assume on your 1st few track days you are not going to be pushing the car to its limits so it could be fine.
you may boil the brake fluid

It should be changed for him. It's ridiculous not even considering that the other is a vendor which could really pose some problems.
