Default Prosolo registration

I have into solo for a few years and have done a few national tours but I have not entered into a prosolo yet. I understand that the entries fill up quickly. Can anyone tell me how far in advance of a prosolo does registration open? Just wondering since I really want to make sure I get entered in the Maryland Pro before it fills up. Thanks!

It's usually 2 or 3 months - honestly it could open any day now. Usually we don't get a pro so early in the northeast. You can check a few ways....usually someone posts a thread in the sccaforums.com prosolo forum, or you can just keep checking motorsportsreg. Also checking here - http://www.scca.com/solo/content.cfm?cid=44512&tag=62. Traditionally those links at scca.com would say when registration is going to open, but they're currently dead. I also wouldn't be surprised if a thread gets posted here. If you want to be really safe email the SCCA.

One thing that will help a lot is getting the solo passport, then you have some time (two weeks I think?) before general registration opens to get registered. Typically for a DC pro it fills up very shortly after general registration opens.

Edit: Per the email they sent out the passport no longer gives you priority registration.

This year I will be running my first Prosolo too. I hope to give it a try at the Blytheville Super Event.

I'll be there also berry! Blytheville has a curse on me though. Bad things always happen to me when I'm there.

I too am going to try my first Prosolo this year. Under-prepped STR with 140k on the bottom end of the engine. Why not?

I can't wait for the DC prosolo. I experienced my first prosolo last year and I found it more mentally challenging than regular solo.

I'll be experiencing my first Pro, as well as Tour and Nat's for the first time this year.
Can't freaking wait!
